I've always loved two things: music and the people in my life.

Music has a way of bringing back memories, celebrating milestones, and saying things that are sometimes hard to put into words. Whether it's a birthday, an anniversary, welcoming a new baby, or remembering someone special, the right song can make a moment unforgettable.

When my wife Erica and I welcomed our son Jack into the world, it reminded me just how quickly life's biggest moments become cherished memories. During his birth, we also discovered how difficult it can be to keep everyone we loved updated while trying to stay present for one of the most important days of our lives.

We built a private page where friends and family could follow along, receive updates, see photos, and celebrate Jack's arrival with us. It made the experience so much easier for everyone involved and eventually inspired what became Pregmometer—a simple way for parents to keep loved ones connected during the birth of their child while preserving those memories as a keepsake afterward.

That experience reinforced something I'd been thinking about for a long time.
